HEADLINERS 02: SISTER BLISS (MOS)

Sister Bliss, one half of Faithless continues to make her mark as a DJ in the latest Headliners compilation. Gathering some of house’s athems, the mix brings us through the dreamy ‘American Dream’ and chugging basslines of Sonic Fusion’s ‘Reformatted’. Synapses’ ‘The Instigator’ is like receiving an aural assault with its computer game-like effects. The rest of the album remains progressive with its collection of favourites ranging from ‘Musak’ to ‘Release’ to ‘Tunnelling’ to ‘Free At Last’.

Disc two remains progressive with its trancier leanings. Taking off with Durango 95’s ‘Big Red Woosh’, Transetters latest release ‘Synergy’ and Futurshock’s Underworld sampled ‘The Question’ feature. The mix also includes two Sister Bliss productions – ‘Sister Sister’ and ‘Deliver Me’. Sister Bliss mixing is smooth and caps it off with Slynus’ self-titled funky release.
