So...Slinky Volume One 

15 exclusive tracks and remixes in celebration of Slinky Music's finest. Although credits go out to Nick Barnes for the mix, track selection is by Slinky Dick.

The compilations represents its favoured hands-in-the-air style of trance so often described as uplifting/full-on trance. From start to end, it never lets up. With the exception Lightforce's 'Join Me', all the tracks featured were published in 2001 making it one of the most up-to-date compilations. Perhaps it helps, owning the copyrights

Technation kick starts the mix with Kelly Jones's angelic vocals to 'Sea Of Blue'. True to its uplifting nature, vocals over organ riffs dominate the various selections. 4 Motion's 'Over 4 Me' loops a diva-like vocal  "It's Over For Me ...… Darling I love You but can't you see? It's over for me...". Not to be out done Reverance's 'Sacrifice' features some of the trippiest efxs sampling that harks back to the days of psychedelic trance.

Listening to a selection like this......don't be caught without your glowsticks!
